  • Weird, can't seem to find anything related to a Fox rear seat delete on CJ's site. Sure it was CJ's?

***Never mind, found who's kit it was after a quick Giggle search. Looks like it is a K Dezines' unit, which appears to be the only one with an access panel up front and removable cover over the spare...nice looking unit for sure! Hopefully we can all see it up close this year...hint, hint!!

        • Wow, that's a LOT of nice work. My project is just a spit-shine compared to this!! Nice work on the dash. How did you finish the fuzzy panels? I want to at least refinish a set of panels I have, but will probably leave the rest of the dash as-is. At least until I have to pull the dash to replace the heater core, which I really, really hope never happens.

Thanks very much! She's getting there. I haven't fuzzied mine yet. I have an extra set I'm going to see whats out there and experiment with. For now I took this set of panels and glass beaded them at low pressure to remove everything. then I had my body shop spray them the interior color in a flat so they would look presentable.

            • I got the instrument cluster, bezel, and repro dash pad in. I even opened the garage doors and fired it up to test. Everything checked out great. I wish my new blower fan and wheel were just a little quieter. It's not bad. It whines a little at high speed. Moving forward.

              • Looking great! The flat gray on the panels looks just fine in the pics, better than discolored fuzzy for sure.

                • New Shifter and Carpet Installed

Well great progress today. My factory Hurst Shift was completely shot. I installed a new Steeda with a generic boot and shift knob until I get mine back from Craft Customs. In addition to a slow methodical install of the new carpet. I also reinstalled the console. Getting closer

                    • Just found this thread today. Amazing results! I really regret not restoring the 7B that I had. I am just starting a 7N '85 Saleen, so the blue is still in my blood. Great work.

                      No more SVO's

                        • I installed the inner seat belt latches and new plastic sleeves. I also insulated the roof and started installing the headliner .

LOL! My shop is a disaster area right now. It looks like an SVO interior exploded everywhere! I'm hoping to have everything but the door panels in this weekend. I'm trying my hand at restoring a pair of panels. Since I'm going to put speakers in the doors I didn't want to cut holes into my pristine set. Along with that I'm replacing all the lock and window motors. There's just too much fun!
