      • looks good, but will it hold a heater core

Man, just the pics of yours all apart gives me the willies, from where I had mine apart 10 years ago.

        • LOL.. I heard that. I should have taken pictures of it completely disassembled. After all it is Halloween and would be scary . I just wish I could have changed the evaporator as easy as the heater core. It's quite a gut check when your splitting the case.

            • Glass beaded the dash bezels today. Trying to decide on how to flock or I could spray them a flat charcoal . Decisions Decisions ..

                • There are some threads around on how to flock the flocking things.

I believe a couple different methods have been used.

                    • Well, the basic dash is completely installed. After a total of 8 slow and pain staking hours it's in. Getting the harnesses back in place was a pill. However, after tightening the last bolt and screws it very solid. I still need to install the cluster, bezel, and reproduced crash pad. The repro pad is "acceptable" but doesn't fit like an NOS. However, it will work ok. I should be able to start posting a lot more progress now. Stay tuned

                        • I'll be posting more pictures on the reproduced dash later this week. In the meantime I have started running all the stereo cables and security wiring. I also started to fit a rear seat delete kit.

i don't remember who fabricated it. However, I ordered it from cjpony. They also have some great pictures showing it completed. They said it takes up to 6 weeks to get. I got mine in 3.
